Is Virtual School the Right Pathway for My Student?
Thank you for your interest in the Berkeley County Virtual School (BCVS) pathway. The goal of this survey is for you to recognize and confirm that your student would be a successful virtual student. Please take your time and read thoroughly so you get a good idea of all aspects of this pathway.

The survey should take you approximately 15 minutes and you should only complete the quiz once per student. Thank you for your participation, your feedback is valuable to us as we plan enrollment in BCVS for the 2025-26 school year.

This survey does not guarantee placement into the BCVS pathway. Your results are being sent to the appropriate school leadership for review. Please continue to monitor the caregiver's email for your recommendation status and next steps.

IMPORTANT: If you are completing the enrollment form for BCVS, then you are committing to at least one semester in the program. However, the program was designed as a full year curriculum and it is recommended that you commit to the entire year. ALSO, if you decide that you would like your child to return to the building, there is a possibility that all openings at his or her home school will be filled due to enrollment limits mandated by the state. This means that your child may have to attend a neighboring school.

Nonresident Transfer Request

Based on your responses, you must complete a nonresident transfer request at the link here. A request for a nonresident transfer must be initiated at the student’s home school.

Please note that your request for a Nonresident transfer will not be answered by the school’s principal until after August 1, 2025, to examine enrollment numbers for each school.
